When first plugged in the speaker will say "the bluetooth device is ready to pair". If not then press "onoff" at the top left of the remote control. The device is listed as ZTV-CT10E, pair this to your bluetooth device to stream music to the speaker. Audio functions are controlled by the 9 buttons in the black area of the remote. The 12 buttons in the white area control the lights.
Alternatively you can transfer music to a USB stick and use the USB port on the rear of the speaker to play music.
The controls on the rear of the speaker are:
Rewind (hold button to decrease volume)
Play/pause
Fast forward (hold button to increase volume)
Mode (this button will enable you to pair with bluetooth without restarting the device)
